Every week we seek to encounter God together through prayer, song, preaching of the Word, fellowship, and more. We want to remember who he is, all he's done, and all he will do (Ex. 13:3; Dt 5:15; 2 Tim 2:8; Eph 2:11–14; Ps 106:7–8). We want to respond as he deserves and commands: thankful singing (Col 3:16), loud shouts (Ps 27:6; 32:11; 33:3; 47:1; 66:1; 71:22), humble kneeling (Ps 95:6), joyful dancing (Ps 30:11; 149:3; 150:4), reverent listening (Mt 11:15; Mk 9:7) and obedience (Mt 22: 37; Rom 12:1–2), and more. And as we behold him through his Word and Spirit, we will be changed from one degree of glory to another (2 Cor 3:18). This ministry exists to be used by God as one means to that end. He calls us to sing (Ps 96:1; 105:2; 149:1) and make melody with our lips, instruments, and hearts (Ps 81:2; 98:5; 150:3–5; Eph 5:18–20; Col 3:16).
